North Pelham is a small rural hamlet in the northern part of the Town of Pelham, spread across rolling farmland at the edge of the wooded Short Hills. It was settled in the late 1700s by United Empire Loyalists, Quakers and Mennonites, and is counted among the historic communities that amalgamated to form the Town of Pelham in 1970. It remains a quiet agricultural crossroads of orchards, vineyards and country roads rather than a commercial centre.
