Long Beach is a lakeside cottage community on the north shore of Lake Erie in the southern part of Wainfleet, named for the long ribbon of soft sand that defines it. Its population swells each summer as visitors arrive to swim, sunbathe and camp, with the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority's Long Beach Conservation Area offering more than 200 campsites along the shoreline. It is the focal point of the township's small but growing beach-tourism scene.
