Wainfleet is a rural township on the north shore of Lake Erie in the southern Niagara Region, bounded by the lake to the south and the Welland River to the north. It is known for its agriculture, the sandy Long Beach, and extensive wetlands including the Wainfleet Bog Conservation Area. The township is also home to the Marshville Heritage Village, a living-history museum.
