Set along the Welland Canal and Port Colborne's West Street, Canal Days blends the city's shipping history with a full Civic Holiday long-weekend program: visiting vessels, a midway, a marine and artisan market, food, and nightly fireworks. Free mainstage concerts at H.H. Knoll Lakeview Park headline the opening two nights, with a donation requested at the gate to keep them free.
The 48th edition runs July 31 to August 3, 2026. Activities spread across the downtown and canal corridor, making it the south-Niagara summer signature event.
