Doors Open Niagara Falls takes place on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participating heritage sites across Niagara Falls, Ontario, offer free admission, with individual opening times and booking requirements to check before visiting.
Plan a route around the sites
Start with the official participating-site list and choose a few stops you can comfortably reach. Check each site’s hours, access information and any tour times; the overall event window does not guarantee every location is open throughout.
The Niagara Falls History Museum and Exchange are among the listed stops. The Chippawa Water Treatment Plant requires advance registration and has clothing requirements, so read its individual listing before adding it to your route.
Make a heritage weekend
Doors Open Niagara-on-the-Lake is a separate event on Saturday, October 17. For other local stops, see our Niagara Falls guide.
