Doors Open Niagara-on-the-Lake takes place Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Check the official participating-site list before choosing your stops: individual opening hours and facilities can vary.
Choose the sites you want to see
The Ontario Heritage Trust programme opens participating heritage and cultural properties for free visits. The Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum’s event notice also confirms the day and warns visitors to check individual site hours. Build a short route around your interests, then leave time for travel between stops.
Parking and accessibility vary by venue
This is an event at multiple locations, rather than one attraction with a shared entrance. Use each listing’s address, map and access details. The official directory distinguishes full and partial wheelchair access and identifies facilities such as washrooms and on-site parking; those features are specific to the property.
Confirm parking signs and restrictions on arrival. Our Niagara-on-the-Lake guide can help plan meal breaks and the rest of your visit. If your schedule changes, return to the events calendar to check another date.
