The International Cool Climate Chardonnay Celebration, known simply as i4C, brings winemakers and wine lovers to Niagara-on-the-Lake for a long weekend built entirely around Chardonnay grown in cooler wine regions. Producers from Ontario and around the world pour side by side, and the schedule mixes seminars and tutored tastings with relaxed, food-forward parties held on winery lawns and terraces. Signature moments include the School of Cool education day and large-format grand tastings where hundreds of Chardonnays can be sampled in a single afternoon, each paired with dishes from Niagara chefs.
The 2026 edition marks the 16th year of the event and runs July 16 to 19. Tickets are sold per event and many guests build a multi-day itinerary; because the celebration moves among several host wineries, attendees usually arrange transportation in advance and treat it as a touring weekend through Niagara wine country.
