The Winter Festival of Lights transforms Niagara Falls into a winter destination each year, stringing millions of lights and dozens of large illuminated displays along an eight-kilometre stretch of the Niagara Parkway, Queen Victoria Park, and Dufferin Islands. The falls themselves are bathed in colour, and the route is free to walk or drive after dark.
Running nightly for roughly two months, the festival layers in laser and light shows, fireworks nights, and seasonal programming that make it a centrepiece of the region's holiday and winter tourism. The 2026–2027 edition is officially scheduled from November 14, 2026 through January 10, 2027.
