Chippawa Creek Conservation Area

Set along the Welland River system in the rural southern half of West Lincoln, Chippawa Creek is one of the township's marquee outdoor destinations. The park is organized around ten-hectare Dils Lake, a reservoir ringed by a short walking trail, with a sandy swimming area, accessible fishing piers, and rentable kayaks and picnic pavilions. It is a genuine day-trip and overnight draw rather than a passive nature reserve.

With roughly 156 campsites ranging from unserviced tent spots to powered trailer sites, plus washrooms, showers and a playground, it functions as a family camping base for exploring the wider Niagara region. The conservation authority operates it seasonally from the Victoria Day weekend through Thanksgiving, and a barrier-free beach mat and wheelchair-friendly piers and trails make much of the waterfront reachable for visitors with mobility needs.
