Cave Spring helped put the Beamsville Bench on the wine map, drawing on mature estate vineyards rooted in the mineral-rich, escarpment-influenced soils above Lake Ontario. The winery is best known for Riesling that ages gracefully, along with expressive Cabernet Franc and other cool-climate varietals.
Its main tasting room anchors the heritage streetscape of Jordan Village, set among restored 19th-century stone buildings that make a visit as much about atmosphere as about the wine. With shops and dining within an easy walk, it is an approachable introduction to Twenty Valley wine country.
