Campden is a rural hamlet in Lincoln tucked below the Niagara Escarpment between Jordan and Beamsville, originally settled by Mennonite and Loyalist families and first called Moyer's Corners after the Moyer family. It took the name Campden and gained its own post office in 1862, and was long served by the Mountain (Campden) Mennonite Church established in 1840. It remains a quiet farming community surrounded by vineyards, orchards and conservation lands.
