Lincoln is a town along the Lake Ontario shore and the Niagara Escarpment, taking in the communities of Beamsville, Vineland, and Jordan. Set in the "Twenty Valley," it is a major tender-fruit and wine-producing area with dozens of wineries, orchards, and farm markets. The villages of Jordan and Vineland were founded by Mennonite settlers around 1799.
