Marilyn I. Walker School Visual Arts Gallery (Brock University)

When Brock University moved its fine and performing arts programs into the historic Canada Hair Cloth factory, it created the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts — a dramatic mix of preserved 19th-century brickwork and modern studio, rehearsal and performance space in the heart of downtown St. Catharines. The building includes a free public visual arts gallery that rotates between student exhibitions and shows by established artists, offering an easy, no-cost look at Niagara's contemporary art scene.

Sitting within the walkable St. Paul Street cultural district, close to theatres, cafés and other galleries, it frequently collaborates with local arts groups and is a natural stop on a downtown arts outing.
