Niagara Artists Centre

Founded in 1969, Niagara Artists Centre (NAC) is among the longest-running artist-run organizations in Canada and a cornerstone of St. Catharines' downtown cultural scene. From its St. Paul Street home the member-driven centre runs several exhibition spaces, including a main show room of rotating contemporary work and a street-facing 'plate glass' gallery that passersby can view through the window.

NAC also doubles as an intimate venue for live music, spoken word, film and experimental performance, and operates a studio shop stocked with work by local makers. Gallery admission is free, and the central location makes it easy to pair with nearby restaurants, theatres and the wider St. Paul Street arts corridor.
