Nelles Manor Museum

Nelles Manor was raised in the closing years of the 18th century by a United Empire Loyalist family and served as their home for several generations before being carefully restored and given to the community. Sitting on ground tied to the War of 1812, the house preserves period rooms and furnishings that trace early settlement life along the Niagara escarpment.

Today the manor welcomes visitors for guided heritage tours during its summer season, with off-season visits arranged on request. Beyond tours, the museum stages a rotating calendar of programs and gatherings, from themed teas and open-hearth cooking to concerts, theatre and seasonal open houses, making it a small but characterful stop for history-minded travellers.
