Nickel Beach

Nickel Beach stretches along the Lake Erie shore at the foot of Lake Road, offering soft sand, open water, and one of the few beaches in the region where vehicles are allowed to park close to the shoreline. It is a popular summer gathering spot for swimming, sunbathing, beach games, and sunset watching, with washrooms and seasonal facilities on site.

The beach operates seasonally under the City of Port Colborne. Vehicle access for non-residents requires a paid pass purchased in advance, and daily vehicle numbers are capped, so it pays to plan ahead in peak summer.
