Set on the sheltered water of Martindale Pond, the Royal Canadian Henley Rowing Course has anchored the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta since 1903 and ranks among the most respected racing venues in North America. Its 2,200-metre, eight-lane layout has hosted the sport's marquee competitions, including multiple World Rowing Championships and the rowing events of the 2015 Pan American Games, and it carries a top-tier 'A' class rating from World Rowing.
For visitors, it is a scenic corner of the Port Dalhousie waterfront where crews train much of the year and where, each summer, rowers and spectators from across the continent gather along the shoreline for the storied Henley regatta.
