The Kilt & Clover

Opened on St. Patrick's Day in 1997, the Kilt & Clover has become a fixture of Old Port Dalhousie's Lock Street strip, a short stroll from the harbour and the district's twin lighthouses. The snug, wood-trimmed rooms channel a traditional British Isles pub, and the kitchen turns out comfort-food staples from shepherd's pie to steak-and-Guinness dishes.

Beyond everyday pints, the pub is known for weekend live music and quirky community events, including its winter chicken-tossing contest out on the ice of Martindale Pond. It's an easygoing, all-seasons spot that helps anchor the Port's walkable waterfront village.
