Held over three weekends in January, the Niagara Icewine Festival showcases the sweet, concentrated wines pressed from grapes left to freeze on the vine. The signature Niagara-on-the-Lake Icewine Village sets up outdoor tasting bars and warming fires along historic Queen Street, while wineries across the region host pairings and the marquee Cool As Ice gala at the Niagara Parks Power Station.
The 2027 festival runs January 8-30, with icewine flights, live music and seasonal food from local chefs. Tastings run on ticketed passes rather than free admission.
