If you are already visiting Clifton Hill, choose two or three shops to compare before buying. The hill and the return journey matter if you are carrying bags or using a stroller; map the route that works for your group rather than treating every shop as the same walk from the falls.
Niagara Falls Gifts
The operator places Niagara Falls Gifts beside Ruby Tuesday and the Travelodge on Clifton Hill. It lists familiar keepsakes including keychains, magnets, mugs, clothing, toys and personalized items. That makes it a useful place to compare several kinds of small gifts in one stop.
For clothing, check the size, fabric and return terms before paying. For personalized gifts, confirm the spelling and whether the item can be returned. Use the shop’s current hours rather than assuming every Clifton Hill store stays open as late as the attractions.
Canada Trading Company
Canada Trading Company is at 4950 Clifton Hill, at the top of the hill. Its range includes souvenir clothing, giftware, maple syrup and gourmet foods. The operator lists year-round opening and says purchases are made in person, so contact the shop if you are travelling specifically for one item.
Its FAQ also states that it charges HST without an additional tourist tax or destination fee. That is a useful checkout detail, but it does not prove that every item is cheaper than at another shop. Compare the final price of the product you actually want.
Super Souvenirs
The Victoria Centre business-association listing currently places Super Souvenirs at 5697 Victoria Avenue and describes postcards, magnets, novelty T-shirts, mugs, plush toys and Canada-themed merchandise. Use that current listing when planning your stop; older directories show different street numbers.
Small keepsakes are a practical starting point when buying for several people. Compare the unit price and condition rather than assuming that a multi-item offer must be better value.
Souvenir Mart
The local business association lists Souvenir Mart at 5771 Victoria Avenue, with Niagara and Canada-themed gifts including maple treats, plush moose, mugs, T-shirts and postcards. Check the current listing before making a special trip, as older directory addresses differ.
For edible gifts, compare package size, ingredients and best-before information. A decorative box can be part of the gift, but it is worth checking how much food is actually inside it.
Bargain World
Bargain World’s business-association listing gives 5701 Victoria Avenue and describes Niagara souvenirs, novelty gifts and Canadian-themed merchandise. Include it in a Victoria Avenue comparison if you want several small keepsakes.
Let the displayed prices and the items decide whether you have found a bargain. Check whether a promotion applies to the whole range or only a marked shelf, and buy a bundle only if you want its contents.

Great Canadian Gifts at Sheraton Fallsview
The resort’s shopping page places Great Canadian Gifts inside Canadian Gifts & Marketplace in the Sheraton Fallsview lobby, in the Falls Avenue area. It lists clothing, souvenirs and specialty Niagara-made products. This is a different location from Table Rock Centre beside Horseshoe Falls.
For a locally made gift, ask who made the specific item and read its origin label. A shop carrying some Niagara-made products does not mean everything on its shelves was made locally. Confirm current stock if you want a particular food, maker or clothing design.
Table Rock Shop
Table Rock Shop is inside Table Rock Centre at 6650 Niagara Parkway. Niagara Parks lists branded gifts, maple products and galleries featuring local paintings, photographs and prints. It is a convenient browsing option if your day already includes the brink of Horseshoe Falls.
Compare a small keepsake with a specialist gift according to your budget; this is not a promise of outlet pricing. Check print dimensions and protective packaging if you want artwork. For food gifts, read the producer and ingredient labels, and consider the bottle’s weight and packing requirements.
Souvenir shopping in Niagara Falls, New York
You can buy Niagara Falls souvenirs without crossing into Canada. The official Niagara Falls State Park shopping page lists park merchandise, books, art, mugs, toys and apparel across its shops.
- Welcome Center Gift Shop: inside the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Welcome Center, with clothing, hats, artwork and other keepsakes.
- Top of the Falls Gift Shop: near Terrapin Point, below the Top of the Falls Restaurant on Goat Island.
- Cave of the Winds Gift Shop: on Goat Island beside the attraction entrance.
Choose a stop that fits your state park itinerary and confirm that shop’s hours. A park being open does not mean every gift shop is open at the same time. Compare the checkout total in USD; there is no verified basis here for calling one country universally cheaper.
How to find a real souvenir discount
- Choose an item and a spending limit first. Compare the same mug size, shirt quality or maple-syrup quantity. Different products can make an apparent saving misleading.
- Ask for the checkout total. Establish the currency, taxes and any other charges. If comparing Canadian and U.S. purchases, convert the totals into one currency using the rate you will actually pay.
- Check the offer’s conditions. Read exclusions, expiry dates, minimum spends and whether sale items qualify. Ask before paying rather than assuming an old coupon will be accepted.

- Keep the receipt. Check the return policy, particularly for final-sale, food and personalized purchases, and keep the shop’s details if you may need to contact it later.
One specific offer to check is Niagara Clifton Group’s current Big Fun Value Pass promotion. At our October 7 review, its 5-attraction option listed a 5% retail voucher redeemable at Niagara Falls Gifts, Blue Moose Trading Co. or Blue Moose Toys. The published terms allow one coupon per sale and say it cannot be combined with another offer; restrictions apply. Confirm the voucher supplied with your purchase. This is separate from other operators’ Clifton Hill attraction passes.
If you already want those attractions, the voucher may be useful. Buying an attraction pass solely to reduce a small souvenir bill is unlikely to make sense: a 5% saving on an eligible CAD $20 purchase is only CAD $1. That is an arithmetic example, not a shop price quote. Check which retailer accepts your voucher before planning a purchase around it.
What to bring home from Niagara Falls
- For a small, easy-to-pack memory: compare postcards, magnets or keychains. Pick a design connected to something you enjoyed rather than buying more just to meet an offer.
- For something useful: consider a mug or clothing, allowing for luggage space, breakage protection and the recipient’s size.
- For a food gift: compare maple syrup, maple treats or other labelled local products. Check ingredients, allergens, package size and the journey home.
- For local art: look for an identified artist or maker, and confirm whether you are buying an original, a print or a reproduction. “Canadian-themed” and “made in Canada” describe different things.
- For a wine gift: compare the producer, bottle size and the product named on the label. An icewine-flavoured confection is different from a bottle of icewine. For a separate boutique-shopping outing, consider Niagara-on-the-Lake. Treat it as another destination in your itinerary, rather than a guaranteed cheaper alternative to the souvenir shops at the falls.
Taking souvenirs home: packing and border checks
If you are flying: check before buying liquids or fragile gifts. For Canadian airport screening, CATSA’s maple-syrup guidance permits carry-on containers of 100 ml or less and lists syrup as permitted in checked baggage. Follow the rest of the liquids-bag rules too. For a U.S. departure, TSA distinguishes solid food from liquids and gels, with liquid or gel food over 3.4 oz restricted from carry-on. Check your exact item and airline’s baggage limits; bottles, snow globes and food gifts need different packing decisions.
If you cross the border: keep receipts and food in its labelled packaging. CBP’s guidance for food from Canada requires agricultural products to be declared and checked for admissibility. For Canadian residents returning home, CBSA requires declaration of goods acquired abroad, including purchases and gifts. Alcohol has its own rules. A sealed package, a gift label or a duty-free purchase is not a blanket exemption from border requirements.
