Niagara Parks Power Station

The Niagara Parks Power Station preserves a century-old generating hall that once harnessed the river's power, reopened as an immersive heritage attraction. Inside, the original generators and control equipment stand much as they were left, interpreted through exhibits and an evening projection show that animates the cavernous space.

The signature experience is the Tunnel: a glass elevator carries visitors far below the building to a long tailrace passage ending at an outdoor deck at the river's edge, offering a rare ground-level view of the Horseshoe and American Falls. The station is fully indoors and accessible, making it a dependable option in any weather.
