The Butterfly Conservatory brings a slice of the tropics to the Niagara Parkway, sheltering more than two thousand butterflies across dozens of species inside a warm, humid dome filled with flowering plants, ferns and trickling water. Visitors follow a network of level, accessible pathways as the insects flutter overhead and occasionally land on a shoulder or outstretched hand, while an emergence window lets you watch newly hatched butterflies dry their wings.
